yes, i had issues with early injectors as i was looking to keep cost down for everyone, but when the tuning of injectors and the manufacture support of the injectors, they were less than optimal for our cars. where many had no issues at all, about 5% had issues and the drivability of the injectors weren't great aswell and when confronting the dealer, they told me in not so many words that they didn't have to do anything and weren't going to... this is why i finally ended up with ID's and have had no issues since. I am sorry to those who feel i may have wronged them. As for the rails leaking, only 2 had leaks at the AN fitting due to straightening, which i swapped out and straightened the AN fitting out. this this date every single Winfactory rail is leak free and working properly. The new CNC version that is coming out shortly will be much prettier and faster to produce. And to those who still cant wrap your head around the 90 degree angles, the BDE rail also has to turn 90 degrees to the injectors, side feeds have to swirl around 90 degree turns... overall look at every rail design out there and there is 1 or more sharp bend in them and low and behold, they work fine. Anyhow, the bends we have in the available fuel rails play no part in our ability to make power out of them... so BDE, 300degree, WINFactory and even stock rails are ultimately limited to fuel injectors that are being used. The main top feed systems were put together to give us all better/more injector choices, sizes, lower cost, and ease of access. Plenty of people have made 800+rwhp on all 3 versions of upgraded fuel rails so your choice is really about what to do you want to look at, what injector sizes are available for your needs, and how much do you want to spend.

Best run: 1.60 60', 11.319 @ 120.65 mph - 118 octane fuel (on 100 octane tune), 22 degrees of timing, 21-22 psi boost, 11 psi tire pressure (street slicks). "..know your car better... RACE IT!.. AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE.." "Drag racing is for fast cars... Autocross is for fast drivers... Drifting is for cheap tires..." I made up the last one.. |
